NURSERY
8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon
The education of Christians takes place in every space in the church. The
nursery is not just a parking place for children. Their experiences in the
nursery teach them that they are the beloved children of God. This is the
beginning of their faith journey; the beginning of a relationship with others
on the same journey, and a chance for them to experience the nurture and
hospitality we, as a congregation, vowed to provide to them at their infant
baptism.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH
We realize each family in our congregation is unique. To honor this, we have
several options for families:
WORSHIP BAGS for children are in the back of the sanctuary with activities to
occupy your young children while worshiping as a family.
“CHILDREN’S FELLOWSHIP” is for children ages 4 through 2nd grade, whose
parents feel their children need an alternative to worship. Children’s
Fellowship begins after the “Time with Children.” Please pick up your
children in room 338 immediately after the service. There will be occasions
when children are invited stay in the sanctuary with their families for
the entire worship service. Please read your bulletins carefully each
Sunday to note when these occasions arise.
Parents with CHILDREN 3 YEARS OLD AND YOUNGER are welcome to keep their
children in worship with them, or accompany them to the nursery after Time
with Children. A nursery will always be available during worship service.
A “CRYING ROOM” is also available behind the clear glass doors just off the
overflow room.
